DESCRIPTION:While most animal welfare litigation and advocacy is conducted using federal and provincial legislation, the municipal jurisdiction provides great opportunity for advancing animal welfare beyond simply the basic municipal animal control bylaw. This presentation will explore some of these opportunities, including practical applications for companion animals, farmed animals and wildlife.\nRSVP (PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED) to the Manitoba Bar Association online.
