DESCRIPTION:With the release of the new practice direction of the Court requiring a Child Support Service calculation request and decision prior to making an application for an emergent hearing for support, we seek to update the profession as to the services offered by the Family Resolution Service, and explain both administrative calculation and recalculation of child support offered by the Service.\nAlso included will be an overview of the Mediation Services Winnipeg pilot program to deliver comprehensive mediation and mediation-arbitration services to the public, and an opportunity presented to join the roster of independent legal advice service providers to support the program.\nRSVP (PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED) to the Manitoba Bar Association online.\nAt approximately 9:30am on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 an email will be sent from the MBA advising you of the link that you will click on to join the Zoom video conference meeting\n
