SUMMARY:AI in Legal Research and Writing Applications
DESCRIPTION:Artificial Intelligence (AI) is everywhere these days.  In particular, many companies are marketing legal research and writing products powered by AI.  If you’re using them already or you’re considering trying them out, you should consult the Canadian Association of Law Libraries’ helpful AI in Legal Research and Writing Applications: Assessment Guide ( https://callacbd.ca/AI-in-Legal-Research-and-Writing-Applications-Assessment-Guide ).  In this session, the Guide’s proponent Annette Demers will explain the Guide and why it is such a valuable and necessary tool for lawyers looking to integrate AI into their practices.\nPlease RSVP to the Manitoba Bar Association online. The link to join the Zoom meeting will be sent out to all registrants on the morning of the meeting.\nAttendance at this MBA Section meeting can be applied towards your Law Society of Manitoba’s Continuing Professional Development requirement for a maximum of one hour.\n
