DESCRIPTION:SPEAKERS:\nSinikka Crosland – Executive Director of Canadian Horse Defence Coalition (located in BC) –\nDr. Rebecca Ledger – animal behaviourist (located in BC)\nMP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith (located in ON)\nJann Arden – Singer/Actor (located in Calgary)\nRebeka Breder – animal lawyer (located in BC)\nEvery year, thousands of live horses are forced into small crates and then shipped by air overseas, where they are slaughtered for human consumption. These horses travel in excess of 15 hours without food, water or rest, and often longer by the time they reach the final destination and slaughterhouse.\nPlease join the CBA BC, Manitoba, and PEI Branches for this informative and collaborative session.
