Advising on AI Contracts
Join this timely and practical session designed to equip commercial lawyers with the tools they need to confidently advise on contracts with an artificial intelligence (AI) component. Whether in the context of software as a service agreements where software is AI-driven, using AI in the delivery of services, using AI to review contracts, or other use-cases, this session will break down key AI-related legal issues and provide suggestions for actionable drafting and negotiation strategies. As AI technologies are rapidly embedded into commercial relationships, traditional contract frameworks are being tested by new risks around data use, transparency, IP ownership, liability, regulatory compliance, and evolving standards of care. Whether you advise vendors, purchasers, or end users, this session will provide guidance on allocating risk, future proofing agreements, and providing advice that is both technically informed and legally defensible in an AI driven marketplace.
