An Energy Law Primer: What Is Energy Law and How Does It Impact Your Company

Companies in Canada are increasing affected by energy law and the push to decarbonization. This session is intended for in-house counsel who don’t necessarily practice in the energy area. Topics will include the role of in-house counsel, why companies adopt climate-related targets and how they are achieving them, the legal risks of “greenwashing” and comparisons with legal frameworks in other provinces.
