Green Is the New Red Flag: Navigating Canada’s Crackdown on Misleading Eco-Claims

This presentation explores Canada’s new greenwashing laws and the heightened scrutiny on corporate environmental claims. Focused on what lawyers need to know, it will cover recent amendments to the Competition Act and how they are expected to be applied. Attendees will come away with practical insights and an awareness of risk to help clients navigate the evolving landscape.

Attendance at this MBA Section meeting can be applied towards your Law Society of Manitoba’s Continuing Professional Development requirement for a maximum of 1.5 hours.
