Northern Bar Annual CPD – Focus on Criminal Law
This program will provide practical guidance to criminal law practitioners on handling a large caseload with complex files and the particular considerations when providing service in different communities. The challenges of communicating with clients during the pandemic, when opportunities for in-person interaction are reduced, will also be addressed.
The two main topic areas will be:
- Advocating on a circuit
- Adult sentences for youth offenders
