Silver Alerts

Earl Moberg hasn’t been seen since he wandered away from his Winnipeg home on December 12, 2023.  Earl was 81 at that time and had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s four years earlier.  As we commemorate the one year anniversary of his disappearance, his daughter Britt Moberg (a Robson Hall graduate) has agreed to speak with us about this case, including potential areas for law reform like critical incident reviews, silver alerts and preventative measures.

RSVP (PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED) to the Manitoba Bar Association online (link above). Non-members may attend for a cost of $150.

The link to join the Zoom meeting will be sent out at 9:30am on January 14, 2025.

Attendance at this MBA Section meeting can be applied towards your Law Society of Manitoba’s Continuing Professional Development requirement for a maximum of 1.5 hours.
