As lawyers in Manitoba adjusted to working from home, they turned to technology to help facilitate video conferencing needs. This is when many first discovered Zoom, how easy it was to use, and that clients loved it too. Zoom is rich in features, but beware – in order to use it ethically and competently, you need to learn how to use it securely.

This one-hour webinar is designed to make you aware of the many ways you can use Zoom in the practice of law, with an eye to making sure your usage is secure. Topics include:

  • Current state of Zoom’s security
  • Meeting ID and passwords
  • Using the waiting room
  • Chat feature
  • Breakout rooms
  • Recording
  • Screen sharing
  • Encryption
