Sharing Experiences towards a Shared Future – The Indigenous Bar Association’s 33rd Annual Conference.

The Indigenous Bar Association (IBA) is hosting its 33rd annual conference online on Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23. This year’s theme is “Sharing Experiences towards a Shared Future.”

Speakers and panels will touch on topics like the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, transboundary Indigenous rights (post-Desautel decision), and the connection between Indigenous languages and Indigenous laws.

Anyone who registers for the October 22-23 conference will also get complimentary access to a continuing professional development day that the IBA is planning for November 12.
