April 1, 2026. Media Bulletin. Provincial Minimum Wage to Increase to $16.40 on Oct. 1
Manitoba Labour and Immigration is notifying Manitobans the provincial minimum wage will increase by 40 cents to $16.40, effective Oct. 1.

Bill 234 The Registered Landscape Architects Act/Loi sur les architectes paysagistes – The Registered Landscape Architects Act is established to provide self-governing authority for and title protection to landscape architects. The Manitoba Association of Landscape Architects becomes the profession’s regulatory body and a governing council is established with public representatives. Only registered members can use the title “Registered Landscape Architect”. A process is created for complaints against and discipline of members.

- Manitoba Hydro Amendment Act (March 25, 2026) – A proclamation is to be issued by the Lieutenant Governor fixing April 1, 2026, as the day on which The Manitoba Hydro Amendment Act, S.M. 2021, c. 37, Schedule C, except section 6 insofar as it enacts section 28.6 of The Manitoba Hydro Act, comes into force.
Minister responsible for the Manitoba Public Service Act
