Jenny will draw on her unique perspective from past roles as an in-house lawyer and more recently, a global perspective with Lex Mundi.
Managing Firms on Behalf of Clients as Outside GC – Stéphanie Tétreault
Stéphanie has been involved with hundreds of transactions involving external counsel in over 30 U.S. States and across the Canadian Provinces. Stéphanie will review the initial outreach process, engagement, retainers, billing, managing the file/relationship and liaison with external counsel and the client.
Operational Capacity to Manage Legal Firms – Christopher Thurn
You need the right structure and management capabilities in place to be successful managing your firms. Using a “legal operations as a service” – enabled with technology and using a relationship-based approach – means you set expectations, monitor progress, and hold everyone to account (external counsel and your legal department). With that in place, you can now gather the right data and drive value for your organization (while helping your firms to be successful).
