Limitations of Liability in Professional Services Contracts

Professional Services Contracts frequently contain limitations on the liability of the professional for services rendered. They are frequently a multiplier of fees paid for the services rather than a realistic measure of possible damages. Are such limitations enforceable? How best to deal with these provisions when retaining professionals?

Join Kevin Williams of Taylor McCaffrey in a presentation on the law of these limitation and some practical advice on negotiating these provisions.

Please RSVP (PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED) to the Manitoba Bar Association online at www.cbapd.org. This is an in-person meeting only, lunch will be provided.
