It will discuss topics including what to do when you separate, how to file for divorce, what to expect when you meet with a lawyer, and the basics of court procedure.

This replay session may be helpful for anyone whose practice includes:
- Drafting pre-nuptials, co-habitation agreements, spousal agreements or
- Separation agreements;
- Estate planning, including will drafting; or
- Administering estates or acting for spouses or common law partners to assert or review claims against an estate.
The applicable law is reviewed, tips are shared on how to plan for and understand the practical implications of the legislation and pointers are provided to identify common problems.
Designed as a basic overview for lawyers who have been practising for 3 years or less as well as those who have been practising for longer or are in a general practice and wish to have a refresher.
